Relic is an Archetype, it is a special kind of Feat. A character can only have one Archetype in total. Apart from that, Archetypes are like normal Feats and may be taken at character creation or on any level up. On your sheet, mark Relic as one of your Feats and add all Feats gained separately.
Description
The church entrusted you (or your ancestors) with the protection of a sacred relic.
It may be some bones, blood or a lock of hair from a saint. It may also be some splinters of a famous artefact, like the holy cross or the coat of saint Bernard.
Your relic is encased in some way and you carry it with you at all times. For example in the tilt of your sword, around your neck or inside a book.
As long as you are in the possession of it, your character have the following benefits.
He gains the Immune Feat.
He also gains two Feats of his choice in this list :
- Charismatic
- Combat
- Courage
- Detect Lies
- Instinct
- Knowledge
- Knowledge (apothecary)
- Knowledge (heresy)
- Knowledge (medicine)
- Reflexes
- Reputation
- Sleepless
- Survival
- Tough
- Miracle (even if the character isn't third level)
- Heal (even if the character isn't third level)
- Revelation (even if the character isn't third level)
- True Strike (even if the character isn't third level)
- Warcry (even if the character isn't third level)
Unlike other Archetypes, the Feats chosen must have a relation with the relic and the player has to justify it.
