Special: Prowess

True Strike is a Prowess, this special kind of Feat is an action that can only be done once per scenario.

To acquire it, you need to already have another Feat related to it, for example : Marksmanship (for throwing or ranged), Combat (for melee or unarmed), Strong (for melee or unarmed), Knowledge (apothecary) (for throwing or ranged) or Poison (for throwing or ranged)

Your Game Master may accept to waive such prerequisites if your background or in game actions justify it. Unlike normal Feats, a Prowess can be acquired several times.

Description

Using finesse, training, brute strength or potent poisons, you're capable of delivery deadly blows.

When taking this Prowess, you have to choose a specialisation. It can be True Strike (unarmed), True Strike (melee), True Strike (throwing) or True Strike (ranged)

When using this Prowess and to the extend of the humanely possible you will kill a normal person of your choice with your bare hands, with a melee weapon, using a throwing weapon or with a ranged weapon (bow, crossbow and the like) depending on your specialisation.

Each types of weapons have a range limitation, for example it is not humanely possible to kill someone with a throwing dagger at more than 30 meters.

You have to convince the Game Master that your weapon can be appropriately used with this Feat, for example a bread loaf cannot be considered an appropriate melee weapon, but a quarterstaff can.

The Game Master may rule that an enemy is special and can't be killed by this Prowess, he has to warn you before using the Feat.

On a 5 or a 6 on a die 6, this Feat can defeat an opponent that would require the Combat (monster) Feat.
