Special: Prowess
Benediction is a Prowess, this special kind of Feat is an action that can only be done once per scenario.
To acquire it, you need to already have another Feat related to it, for example : ⭐ Faith
Your Game Master may accept to waive such prerequisites if your background or in game actions justify it.
Description
Through holy prayer and the proper liturgy, you may call down a Benediction that restores strength to the faithful. This Prowess must be performed within a consecrated church, chapel, or cathedral, using the appropriate liturgical tools (such as altar, vestments, or sacred vessels).
By devoting yourself to this sacred rite, you may restore one expended Prowess — either for yourself or for another player — once per scenario.
At the Game Master’s discretion, this ability cannot be used to recharge the most powerful Prowesses, such as ⭐ Faith, Surprise Attack !, Apocalypse, Whispers of Madness, or Confession. This especially applies to Prowesses that require more than one scenario to recharge, those with multiple prerequisites or devastating effects.
The rite of Benediction requires 2 full hours to be performed.
Special: Miracles
For each ⭐ Miracle you possess (whether used or unused), you may restore one additional Prowess through Benediction.
This only works for ⭐ Miracle on your character sheet, it does not work for Miracles granted by Bone Artifacts.
This does not stack: if you possess Benediction twice (such as through a special archetype) and also have two Miracles, you may still only restore two Prowesses by Benediction and two more through Miracles — never more than one additional restoration per Miracle.
