Or if you have witnessed some horrors in the past or if your family has a long history of being cursed, it could make sense to have the [[Handicap (lost faith)]] Feat etc...
If accepted by the Game Master, you may even have access to a [[:Category:Dark Feats|Dark Feat]].
Note that this feat doesn't have to be taken at character creation and at your Game Master's discretion it is acceptable to flesh out your background later in the campaign.
