The Knights Hospitaller were established following the First Crusade to protect and treat Christian pilgrims to the Holy Land. They were recognizable by their black or red surcoat with a white cross. An elite and powerful fighting order of well trained knights wearing heavy mail or plate armour and armed with a lance, they were feared on many battlefields of the Middle Ages.

Description of the Feat goes here. One sentence de explain detailed effect in game.

They are monastic order that specialises in cavalry and combat, they also established hospitals to treat their wounded and harbour pilgrims.

For centuries they fought alongside their sister order, the Knight Templars.

When in 1312, the Templar order was dissolved, most of their assets and members joined the Hospitaller order.

Hailing from Rhodes, they have the finest doctors and fighters of all Christendom.

As a knight Hospitaller, the character gains the Feat [[Combat (battle)]] or [[Knowledge (medicine)]].

If his background justifies it, he also gains the [[⭐ Faith]] Feat.

Additionally, he gains one Feat of his choice in this list :

*[[Combat (battle)]]

*[[Knowledge (medicine)]]

*[[Knowledge (apothecary)]]

*[[Knowledge]]

*[[Courage]]

*[[Rich]] (not your personal wealth, but your order's)

*[[Noble]]

*[[Tough]]

*[[Immune (diseases)]]

*[[Charismatic]]

*[[Foreigner]] (in which case you are actually a Teutonic Knight, not a Hospitaller)

*[[Handicap (leprosy)]] (in which case you are actually a Knight of Saint Lazarus, not a Hospitaller)

Note that not all knights of st. John have this feat and the character may de facto be a member of this order without having it.

Ideally followed by some historical notes and roleplaying elements.

 +
If a long description of effects is required, best keep it for the end of the article.
