The Knight in Red (the devil) was an Irish mercenary that fought in the Battle of Neville’s cross against the Scottish hired by William Montagu, 2nd Earl of Salisbury.
The players meet with William Montagu and he points them to Peel Castle where he is currently his Captain.
However he makes it clear that there’s one tower in Peel Castle that the players may not enter, at any cost. And he will make it clear to the pope that this is out of question.
So the players can speak to William Montagu, 2nd Earl of Salisbury just after a ball in Calais 23 avril 1348 ball. (the ball where the order of the garter was created)
At the end they follow his boat until a small unnamed island in the west of Ireland where pagans are openly worshipped, voyage au coeur de l'enfer.
