{{Feats
| Synonyms = Combat (duel), Combat (skirmish), Combat (battle), Combat (monster)
| Prowess? = No
| Official? = Yes
| Description =
The character knows how to fight, where and how to hit, parry or , dodge or organise troops in certain combat situation.
The character must chooses choose a specialization: Combat (duel), Combat (skirmish), Combat (battle). He is then unbeatable in this situation. As long as he is properly equipped and within the limit of the humanly possible, he will always win against his opponents.A character cannot choose the Combat (monster) specialization, but several Feats can emulate this effect, like Strong, Arbalest or True Strike (melee)
A duel is a fight against a powerful foeskilled swordsman. A monster is one mighty opponent.
A skirmish is a fight against several normal enemies.
A battle starts with more than 60 belligerents in total
If you're unsure, it is recommended to be specialised in skirmish, by default Combat means Combat (skirmish)
If the players player fights outside of his speciality, he must roll a die six6. Without possibility to re-roll again for the whole combat.
On a 1,2,3,4 this Feat has no effect.
On a 5 or 6 the character is considered to have the appropriate specialisation for the current combat (even Combat (monster) !)
A character with Combat (battle) Feat will not necessarily win all the battles in which he participates, but he will influence them greatly. And in any case it is certain that he and his companions will come out of it unscathed. It is very likely that the character owns a warhorse and knows how to ride in battle.

Since it is not possible to have a General Feat twice, you cannot take this feat several times with different specialities.
